Jones, a retired Computer Systems Analyst, relocated from Oklahoma to Wisconsin in 2009 to be near family. A passionate wildlife photographer, he frequents the beautiful Fox River for the opportunities it provides to capture the activities of birds and animals in their natural habitat. His favorites include migratory Great White Egrets, Sandhill Cranes, American White Pelicans, Great Blue Herons, as well as Bald Eagles and the more common ducks, geese, and cormorants. “Photography is more than a hobby and passion for me; it’s a mood, a feeling, a love of nature and wildlife in all its beauty.” Also an accomplished musician, Jones started playing at the tender age of six and began performing for audiences two years later. Though he has mastered several instruments including piano and church organ, these days you can hear the sweet sounds of his accordion most Sunday mornings at Atlas.
