Painting in watercolor as well as oils, Karen's signature style is texture, vibrant color, and often whimsy. She describes herself as not only an artist in process, but also as a person in process. Her art has an energy and enthusiasm that is not easy to define, but she can lose herself in how the colors mix on the canvas, and the surprises that occur with a movement of the brush.
