Discovery Center and Vulcan Park are situated on the north bank. The trolley offers transportation from College Avenue to the riverfront
and a walking/biking trail is slated to cross the river joining north with
south. Future developments include Riverheath, a pastoral sanctuary
overlooking the river on one side and Telulah Park's wooded 38 acres on the
other. One of the area's oldest and now newest neighborhoods, Riverheath has
been accepted into a national pilot program for sustainable neighborhood design.
